Steel Cargo
Steel cargo, such as steel beams or sheets, is typically handled on a vessel using specialized cargo handling equipment, such as cranes or forklifts. The steel is carefully positioned on the ship's deck or in its hold, using straps or other securing devices to prevent it from shifting during the voyage. To ensure the safe handling of the cargo, the ship's crew must follow strict procedures and protocols, including regular inspections and maintenance of the cargo handling equipment. Once at the destination port, the steel is unloaded using the same cargo handling equipment and transported to its final destination.
